As the harvest season winds down and soft blankets of snow begin to appear, we hunker down and give thanks. The flowers have long bloomed, and the leaves and excess fruits have fallen, replenishing the Earth for next season’s bounty. Meanwhile, our pantries are filled with dried and canned goods, and there is still incoming fruit to harvest. The persimmons are ripening, and chestnut trees are bursting in the Sierra Foothills.
We hope your Thanksgiving Holiday is filled with laughter and love. Whether you keep it simple or go all out, may it bring joy into your heart. This may be the time to mix old traditions into new, like making apple pie from scratch, or grandma’s chestnut stuffing. Take the time to tune in to what truly matters. We’re thankful for you. Wishing you many blessings, from our table to yours.
