Sales Executive

We are looking for an enthusiastic event professional who wants to contribute to the sustainability and reach of Sierra Bride Magazine mission.

Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities is to build, manage, and grow a portfolio of wedding vendor professionals and magazine distributors (aka: “preferred partners”.) These are the businesses that are highly recommended and meet the brand standards and believe in the Sierra Bride magazine vision, and therefore are ideal advertising clients for our target bride. Outside of sales, as you get to know the stories behind the businesses and rising stars you will share your insight in order to feature them in our bi-annual magazine.

Requirements:

• Proven sales professionals with a motivating communication style.

• Financially healthy (can be self-supported while building a portfolio)

Compensation & Perks:

Advertisement Sales:

• Sales under $3,000 per issue you will earn 10% of all sales.

• Sales over $3,000 per issue you will earn 20% of all sales.

*Compensation cap at $4,000 per issue. Paid bi-annually

Magazine Sales: 

• Wholesale Distribution - you will receive 80% of total sales.

• Retail Sales - you will receive 100% of total sales

Brand Ambassador

Internship

We are looking for wedding enthusiasts who are interested in hands-on experience in creating new partnerships, content development, publishing and printing, project management, and driving business development. You’ll enjoy personal mentorship from sales and partnership leadership and access to awesome perks.

Responsibilities:

• Complete research, administrative tasks for senior editors.

• Follow up with advertisers and distributors

• Appointment setting and calendar management

• Help edit and curate related content in print publication to support editorial team

• Other sales and admin support duties as necessary
