We’ve heard many things about the presence of rain on a wedding day. Some believe it brings good luck. Some believe the opposite. We happen to believe it just makes for unique memories, meaningful plans, and some really, really good photos.
It’s no secret that searching for weddings for Issue No. 3 was a challenge. With the delays of the pandemic, celebrations that had taken place within the last year were in short supply. When we were graced with the soft yet saturated style of Kay Kroshus Photography, we knew we had found something special. When Kay sent the gallery of Ryan and Emily’s rain-blessed West Shore Cafe weddiing, our hearts sang with joy. The magic of the day was clearly and artfully displayed across every photo in the gallery.
Not only are Emily and Ryan gorgeous, but their photos exuded nothing but pure bliss despite Mother Nature’s fickleness. Their planner, Forget Me Knot Events, did a wonderful job at pulling the vendors together for Plan B and producing a seamless wedding day full of smiles and love.
As detailed in their Issue No. 3 feature, Emily and Ryan share a life long love story that has withstood the test of time and physical space, proving that love (and weddings) will always find a way- even when things are seemingly against the odds.
We love finding weddings that showcase handcrafted, thoughtful details. We love finding weddings that showcase exuberant, time-tested love even more. Sprinkle some raindrops on that watch it all grow to something even more magical.
